Dear Parents ,

Carol service on Friday @11a.m.

Just a reminder that you are invited to our Carol service in the school hall tomorrow at 11a.m. The school is alive to the sounds of the children who have been  busy preparing the Christmas story in song and prayer and it’s a lovely way to bring the school term to a close . Our thanks in advance to all the teachers from second to sixth class and in particular to Ms. Greene who will direct the choir and Mrs. Fennelly for co-coordinating the readings and nativity scene .

Junior and Senior Infants Visit Old Buildings In Emo

Ms. Maher’s class and Ms. Murphy’s class had a very enjoyable visit to the old school and St. Paul’s church on Thursday morning. They saw the plaque outside the old school and walked around the building to the old school yard . They learned how old the school is and new words like “decade” and “century “. Junior infants Michael McGrath has a brother , Jack who attended the old school. On the way back the boys and girls got to see the crib in St. Paul’s church and said a prayer.
