Running 1K a day is a positive and energising initiative that supports both physical health and overall wellbeing within our school community. When children are given regular opportunities to move in a supportive and encouraging environment, the benefits reach far beyond fitness.
Daily running helps students build stamina, strength, and healthy habits that support lifelong wellbeing. It also improves focus, mood, and readiness to learn, helping students return to the classroom feeling calm, refreshed, and motivated. Just as importantly, running 1K a day supports emotional and social wellbeing. It provides a shared goal that brings students together, fostering teamwork, encouragement, and a sense of achievement.
