Junior Infants have been having lots of fun learning about weight in maths! They used brilliant maths language, including less than, more than and equal to. The children engaged with balance scales, discovering how many cubes were needed to balance classroom items such as a pencil, glue stick, timer and copy. Some students even extended their learning into playtime, using the balance scales to see how many items it took to balance when Whiskers the Cat joined in the experiment!
