We have been very busy in our class over the past few weeks and having lots of fun along the way!
Our days have been filled with exciting play-based learning and active learning activities. We have been building, creating, exploring and learning together through games and hands-on tasks. The children especially loved baking, where we practised measuring, mixing and (of course!) tasting our delicious treats.
We have also enjoyed lots of sensory play, exploring different textures, colours and materials. From water play to sensory trays, these activities help us learn while having fun in a calm and supportive environment.
The highlight of our month has been our wonderful buddy reading sessions with some of the girls from fifth class. It has been so special to share stories together, practise our reading skills and make new friends. We look forward to these visits every week!
