On Friday, March 6th, Orla and Joseph, two engineers from Fingleton White Engineering in Portlaoise, visited Emo NS to speak with the boys and girls in 5th class. The pupils gained a great insight into the world of engineering and learned about some of the important skills engineers use every day, such as problem solving, creativity and teamwork.
The children really enjoyed the opportunity to ask Orla and Joseph lots of questions about their work and what inspired them to become engineers. It was a very informative and enjoyable visit for everyone involved.
