Cherry Blossom Art
Junior Infants have been busy learning about Spring 🌸
Last week, we went on a Spring nature walk around our school grounds. We began our adventure at the beautiful cherry blossom tree at the front of the school. As we continued into the woods, we listened carefully to the different sounds of nature. The children became excellent nature detectives, spotting signs of Spring all around them!
While in the woods, we collected twigs to bring back to our classroom. Using these twigs, the children got creative and made their very own cherry blossom trees. They used colourful crepe paper to add blossoms, creating beautiful pieces of art inspired by what they had seen outdoors.
It was a fun and engaging way to explore Spring, combining outdoor learning with creativity in the classroom. Well done to all our Junior Infants for their fantastic work.
