Our Senior Infant class had a spectaular day out this week as they traded the classroom for the great outdoors! Dressed in their colourful welly boots and raincoats, our little explorers headed to the forest for a morning of discovery and play.
The forest was alive with activity, and Senior Infants were eager to take it all in. We listened closely to the rustle of leaves, the chirping of birds, and the crunch of twigs under our boots.The children used their keen eyes to see everything the woodland floor had to offer, such as the vibrant green moss and hidden minibeasts. No forest trip is complete without sticks! We saw some incredible teamwork as friends built nests and used their imaginations to turn ordinary branches into magic wands.
