Dear Parents ,

Please see some important notices for your attention.

Calendar Reminder;

Primary Language Curriculum (in-service for all staff): School closed on tomorrow, Wednesday 27th November

Parish Programme for Confirmation

A meeting with Parents/Guardians of children for Confirmation will be held in the school on Thursday 5th December at 8p.m.

As November is the month of the holy souls, we traditionally pray for people who have passed on before us. We have set up a memory tree in school where the children can place the names of relatives that have passed on. We will remember them at assembly and in our class prayers over the next few weeks.

Wellbeing through physical activity

Our programme of extra physical activity for all classes is progressing really well and our teachers are very happy with how the children have responded. The programme will continue for the rest of this term up to the 20th of December so children should continue to wear tracksuits each day until then. We will let you know about January at a later date.

New Board of Management

On behalf of the staff, pupils and parents of the school I would sincerely like to thank the members of the previous Board of Management for their support and efforts over the last 4 years. In particular, I would like to thank Joe McDermott who served as Chairperson for 8 years. It’s an onerous role and one that Joe did brilliantly. I would also like to  thank Florence Fennelly who served as teacher representative on the last 3 Boards of Management. Our thanks also to Declan Donoghue, Bernie Gorman and Mary Owens.

The new Board of management has legal responsibility for the overall running of the school from the 1st December 2019. It serves a term of four years and the new Board of management is as follows:
