We had a very busy Seachtain na Gaeilge this week . Míle buíochas do Maureen Culleton for the Irish dancing classes . Bhain na páistí an taitneamh as an damhsa. Ms. Casey’s class read their leabhair gaeilge to all the classes and rang 6 did some lovely dramas as Gaeilge for the classes . Many thanks to all the parents who helped out with our trip to Portlaoise on Wednesday for RITH . Bhí Tráth na gCeist againn ar An Aoine . Bhí na ceisteanna go léir as Gaeilge agus bhí an-spóirt ag na páistí.
Green Schools
Well done to all the parents who dropped mobile phones and old clothes into the school on Friday . It raised over €1000 which will go towards other Green Projects undertake by the children. Ms. Hooban presented the prizes for the Green school slogans at assembly and classes were all engaged in energy activities/ lessons in their classes throughout the week . Well done to the Green schools committee for all their hard work .
